The BMC Edition of the scriptures is a re-formatting of the 2013 edition of the scriptures of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Book of Mormon Central was specially licensed by The Church to use the official text of the scriptures in the development of the ScripturePlus app. The BMC Edition seeks to stay true to the spirit and content of the 2013 text of the scriptures. The BMC Edition does not change any punctuation, phrasing, or re-translation. This edition simply facilitates an easier reading experience by formatting all the verses into paragraphs. This edition also includes headings and subheadings to more frequently notify the reader of the narrative in the text.

As of 2020, the BMC edition has been completed through the Book of Mormon. Work is currently underway to reformat the Doctrine and Covenants for the 2021 Come, Follow Me curriculum year.
